MythicFang part 55

Wikstrom was half way in Leviathan's territory, panting from his endless running.  He paused briefly when he thought he heard something coming his way. Leviathan's mythical dogs? He leapt into some nearby bushes and waited for whatever was coming to pass him by. To his surprise, he saw Vera running pasted him. Did she escape?
"Vera!" Wikstrom exclaimed causing the dragon dog to skidded to a halt.
"Wikstrom!" Vera cried as the eastern basilisk dog came out of his hiding place.
"Vera, how did you managed to escape the leviathan?" The basilisk dog asked, still surprised to see her.
For a brief while, Vera didn't say anything.
"I...managed to get away...because of Blu." Vera lied, avoiding Wikstrom's gaze "But in doing so....he got caught."
"So...he's still with the Leviathan, then?" Wistrom asked, taking a step back‏
Vera nodded, still avoiding his gaze.
"Some of our comrades had come to rescue you and Blu. If you had managed to escape, they should be here soon enough." Wikstrom replied with a relieved sigh.
"But...they could be walking into a trap..."Vera reminded‏
"Right...Then I better go on ahead and check it out." Wikstrom said before he turned to leave.
Vera glanced over into the forest, then gave a hesitant nod.
"I'll...I'll go with you!" Vera cried as she ran after the basilisk dog.
After the two mythical dogs had left, Hydromedarr stepped out of her hiding place, grinning evilly.
"This was easier than I thought." The hydra dog said to herself with a chuckle before running after the two mythical dog, staying out of sight.
Leviathans had just been told that the dogs that had been sent to rescue Blu had been successfully detained. Now all he needed was for Vera to arrive and their bargain would be complete. He heard Hydromedarr’s large claws as she approached his chamber. He descended from the stalactite to the floor to meet her and hopefully wikstrom as well.
"Master...I’m here to say that Vera is coming with Wikstrom as we speak." The hydra dog said, bowing before the massive wyrm‏.
Leviathan nodded. "Very well, you might as well remain to watch to fruits of my latest experiment." He said and looked at the entrance continuing to wait.
"Yes master...This is gonna be fun!" Hydromedarr said as she glanced at the entrance of the cave, grinning.

Wikstrom and Vera caustiously entered the Leviathan's mythical dog camp. Wikstrom paused to take a quick look around.
"This is odd." Wiktrom thought as Vera approached the Leviathan's cave "this seems to easy."
"Wikstrom!" Vera exclaimed "Let's hurry and get Blu."
"Right…" Wikstrom replied with narrowed eyes, before rushing into the cave.
Vera soon followed. Once inside, Wikstrom skidded to a halt when he saw the massive wyrm himself.
"Welcome Wikstrom. I have been expecting you." He said with a smirk. He turned his attention to Vera. "Good job Vera. Thank you for your assistance."
Wikstrom glanced at the white dragon dog, surprised.
"What?!" The basilisk dog asked‏
